Programs 2005 - 2007

- MacGregor Park Welcomes back ALICE and her summer wading pool sports and craft activities. (2005-recreation, 2006-recreation, 2007- a change within the city structure wading pools now fall under the acquatics department, recreation department continues to support the community and programing is maintained)

2007-Recreation staff Alice will have 5 volunteers helping her in organizing activities for kids by the wading pool starting July 2nd. Aquatics (wading pool staff) staff will be working closely with Alice during the week to make this as enjoyable summer as last year.

2007 - New this weekend - in addition to aquatics staff, there will also be A recreation staff in charge of bringing out some of the sporty toys from during the week (e.g., cars, slides for smaller kids, etc...)

2007 CELOS (a neighborhood research group that is based out of Dufferin Park)staff, on the request of neighbours and local agencies work with neighbours, city staff and local daycares to implement a flower garden in the four abandoned cement flower pots. will be trying out different ways of introducing food in the park but only on the weekends as an experiment.
