Toronto Public Health (TPH) has had 102 cases of COVID-19 reported in Toronto. Ten of these people are hospitalized and of these, four are receiving care in the Intensive Care Unit. To date, there have been five other people diagnosed with COVID-19 who have recovered from their illness.
 

March 19, 2020, from Councillor Ana Bailao: - The City is working with its provincial partners to identify an appropriate service for people who have tested positive for COVID-19. To date, no one has tested positive in the shelter system

 
Toronto Public Health, March 19, 4 p.m.:

Toronto Public Health (TPH) has had 128 cases of COVID-19 reported in Toronto. Eleven of these people are hospitalized and of these, four are receiving care in the Intensive Care Unit. To date, there have been four other people diagnosed with COVID-19 who have recovered from their illness. (:/letter:)

From the MOH: Earlier this week, a resident of Seven Oaks long-term care home was tested for COVID-19 and has now been confirmed as having the virus. Seven Oaks is one of 10 City-operated long-term care homes.

March 20, 2020: Toronto Public Health, 1 p.m.

Toronto Public Health (TPH) has had 161 cases of COVID-19 reported in Toronto. Ten of these people are hospitalized and of these, five are receiving care in the Intensive Care Unit. To date, there have been four other people diagnosed with COVID-19 who have recovered from their illness.

March 22, 2020, news release

Toronto Public Health (TPH) has been notified of a death related to COVID-19. The individual, a man in his 70s, travelled to the United Kingdom. He was tested at a hospital in Toronto and immediately began self-isolation at home. He was reported to TPH by the hospital and a case investigation was completed. He later presented at the Trillium Health Partners - Mississauga Hospital on March 14 and died on March 21, 2020.

Toronto Public Health (TPH) has had 220 cases of COVID-19 reported in Toronto (yesterday: 193). Nine* of these people are hospitalized (yesterday: 10) and of these, five (same as yesterday) are receiving care in the Intensive Care Unit. Among cases of COVID-19 in Toronto, there has been one death (first report). To date, there have been five other people (yesterday: four) diagnosed with COVID-19 who have recovered from their illness.

Toronto Public Health (TPH) has had 319 cases (yesterday 280) of COVID-19 reported in Toronto. Twenty-two of these people (yesterday, 18) are hospitalized. Among cases of COVID-19 in Toronto, there have been four deaths (yesterday, one). To date, there have been five other people diagnosed with COVID-19 who have recovered from their illness.

Note: in response to a reporter's question, Dr.DeVilla said that there is a reduction in the number of people in intensive care but she doesn't remember how many -- "less than 10."

The three additional deaths are an elderly man with pre-existing health conditions and two residents of the Seven Oaks nursing home.

Toronto Public Health has had 339 cases (yesterday 319) of COVID-19 reported in Toronto. Twenty-two of these people are hospitalized (same as yesterday). Among cases of COVID-19 in Toronto, there have been four deaths (same as yesterday). To date, there have been 13 other people diagnosed with COVID-19 who have recovered from their illness (yesterday, 5).

Note: In the media briefing, Dr.DeVilla said that there are 10 people in intensive care.
