As of 2 p.m. on March 31, 109,955 confirmed positive COVID-19 tests in Toronto have been reported to Toronto Public Health (cumulative from January 2020 until yesterday). Yesterday the published count was 109,226. That would mean an increase of 729. TPH says it's an increase of 737.'

Ontario Public Health, meanwhile, says there have now been 109,857 cases in Toronto, which they say is an increase of 743. So those numbers still don't match.

Number of people currently hospitalized: 326 The previous report was 330. TPH says this is an increase of 24. (Of these, in ICU: 54. Previous: 53. Intubated: 25. Previous: 23.

As of 2 p.m. on April 24, 137,328 confirmed positive COVID-19 tests in Toronto have been reported to Toronto Public Health (cumulative from January 2020 until yesterday). Yesterday the published count was 136,223. That would mean an increase of 1105. TPH says it's an increase of 1123.

Ontario Public Health, meanwhile, says there have now been 137,243 positive tests in Toronto, which they say is an increase of 1136. So those numbers still don't match, although they're close.

Number of people currently hospitalized: 1124 The previous report was 1101. TPH says this is an increase of 71. (Of these, in ICU: 228. Previous: 228. Intubated: 153. Previous: 141.

Ontario Public Health, meanwhile, says there have now been 138,258 positive tests in Toronto, which they say is an increase of 1015. So those numbers still don't match.

Yesterday the published count was 140,358. That would mean an increase of 2009. The TPH website says "one-day blackout during transition to same-day reporting." The positive-test numbers actually cover 42 hours.

Ontario Public Health, meanwhile, says there have now been 141,435 positive tests in Toronto as of April 28, which they say is an increase of 1172. So the numbers don't match at all today.

Number of people currently hospitalized: 1068 The previous report was 1121. TPH would always say this is an increase of . Today they give no number but it seems like 53 fewer people are in hospital with covid. (Of these, in ICU: 242. Previous: 242. Intubated: 157. Previous: 155.

Yesterday the published count was 142,457. That would mean an increase of 1202. The TPH website switched over to a same-day count yesterday. They say that there are 1214 new confirmed cases.

Ontario Public Health, meanwhile, says there have now been 142,766 positive tests in Toronto as of April 29, which they say is an increase of 1331. So the numbers never seem to match. Why?

Number of people currently hospitalized: 1073 The previous report was 1068. TPH would always say this is an increase of 72. The simple math would suggest an increase of 7. Why the difference? (Of the people in hospital, 244 are listed in ICU. Previous: 242. Intubated: 127. Previous: 157.
