As a public interest research organization, we support free access to information. As such we work as much as we can in co-operation with any agency that has information that is of value to the public. In cases where we encounter reluctance to release information, as resources allow, we pursue access to information through any legitimate means available, notably Freedom of Information legislation. In the long run, we hope that Canadian institutions will adopt a posture of as much transparency as possible.
