Opening Day Party December 9, 2007

This Sunday hundreds of people turned out to celebrate the new rink season.. It was a chance to skate to music while enjoying hot chocolate and hot dogs at the campfire. There was also food and drinks at the snackbar inside the changeroom.

Deirdre Norman, who organizes the annual Women of Winter hockey tournament, was there to announce her group's donation of a tent to protect the rink's Zamboni. Helping her make the announcement was Ward 18 city councillor and TTC chair, Adam Giambrone.
